Tomorrow the grandchildren arrive for a few days or possibly a week, don’t know yet. I do know however I won’t be crocheting squares or flowers for them; a 19th century skill that is beyond me. I can’t knit either!

I am not bad though at telling a yarn; the full yarn about where I found these granny squares and other shapes can be found in a Portuguese post of mine – Crochet Guerillas. I am also quite good at hosting Squares 😉 and there’s still plenty of time to join in with this month’s Squares. The theme is ‘‘Simply Red‘ and as always the only rule is that your main photograph must be square.

  1. Never could crochet, but I was quite a good knitter, especially baby jackets. I stopped when the children got so big it took me far too long. How old are your grandchildren? You are a very young granny!

  2. What you lack in the craft department you make up for with your hostess skills. You’re a busy bee these days, Becky, but it’s the best way. Have a lovely time with them. I used to be able to do both, but I was never up to yarn bombing standard xx
