The theme for January Squares is the word ‘up‘ and today I thought I’d share the Carrion Crows who were up to mischief on the neighbours flat roof. It is also a great excuse to show you those grey skies I’ve been complaining about!

It has been so grey, however we did have sunshine on Friday and Saturday, which has cheered me up enormously. In fact the blue skies and sunshine has re-energised me so much I have created our second gallery, it will open up for viewing this evening. So, if you can, do set aside a couple of hours to look round. I wonder what else though you will get up to today. Hopefully as much playful mischief as these crows!
Crows can certainly be mischievous. Who has a flat roof in England? I don’t remember seeing many of those with all the rain. Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2021/01/17/green-turtle-coming-up-in-kiholo/

Far far too many have flat roofs these days as they’re making a return with extensions. Absolutely bonkers. The one next door is gigantic and problematic despite being less than 5years old! Style over substance though when it comes with them.

I used to see them in Washington State and think the same thing. Disasters waiting to happen.

Completely. We were astounded by our neighbours decision as they’ve spent a fortune on the rest of build, but it really is a trend to have flat roofs at moment

Ha Ha! I have a bird photo coming up as well! I have my photos all lined up and scheduled for weeks ahead! Well through January at least! And then at the last minute I take a new photo and change my mind about the ones I already have picked out and tweak my scheduled posts! Great challenge!

The crows or blackbirds are always in the trees of the grocery parking lot.
The get up to a lot a mischief or mess-chief.

I’m a bit late today. All of a tizz. Unlike these birds: https://margaret21.com/2021/01/17/up-tails-all/

You are allowed to be in a bit of a tizz. Did she get home last night, or did they keep her in overnight?

You stay in for two days in Spain and like it or lump it. She got no sleep though as Someone was hungry all night!

Oh, poor her. But Emily will take it over not wanting to feed, any day.
