It’s a Sunday in Square in September which means I am looking to the animal world for inspiration. And where better than in Portugal with flamingos.

The theme for squares this month is ‘In the Pink‘ and the one rule as always is that your main photograph must be square. After that the world is your oyster, or should I say flamingo?! To help you get started here are some ideas you might want to consider;
- ‘In the Pink’ – means perfect condition or in good health, so that could be human or not!
- ‘Tickled Pink‘ – means delighted, so I’m thinking happy, fun and of course delighted. That could be you or the subject of your photograph.
- Pink – you can of course simply share anything that is coloured pink
- There is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?
Squares is a daily challenge, so your photographs can be from the archives or brand new. If daily is too difficult, then feel free to post every other day, weekly or even just once in the month. How ever often you post I will include you in my regular pink galleries. Don’t forget though to keep your photo square, and to pingback with #InthePink!
Been away for the weekend with no connectivity, so late to the party.

Flaminogos and Florida go very well together. I just went to a zoo with my grandson and took many, many photos of flamingoes. I must search for them. Great photo, Becky.

How fabulous. Hope you can find them. These ones are wild ones from Spain, currently enjoying life in Portugal!

That’s my favourite too, but it just didn’t work as a square!

They are, it has to be said, one of the world’s weirdest looking birds. Such a delicate shade of pink here.

They certainly are! I love watching them especially when they do their circular motion when feeding.
There is little pink as these are young adults, in fact one is still a teenager by looks of it.

I do like flamingos, Becky, but we don’t get many of them here in Cheshire! 😀
