I cannot recall just how many times I have shared these harbour views. It was a favourite haunt of mine at sunrise when MrB and I were living in Portugal. I do miss standing here. Yes I know I can go back, but even though he never got up at sunrise to join me it will never be the same without him. So not sure I want to try. There are other sunrise vistas for me to explore, as I rebuild my life. Today though it is good to look back and remember.

By the way even I struggle with ensuring my images are square. I was in the middle of preparing this post, when I spotted out of the corner of my eye the pixel information. The two numbers were not equal and they need to be for a square image, and yet the image looked square. Or did it?! I revisited my photo editing and realised it wasn’t – phew at least I caught it in time. Would never do for the Queen of Squares to be called out for non squaring during a shadow boxing event!

A beautiful scene – easy to understand why you loved it so much, and also why you are reluctant to return. However, the sun rises everywhere so I am confident you will find similar scenes to love in the future as part of that rebuilding and healing process 🤗😘

(((((((Becky)))))). I understand why you loved/love the view and why you might not want to go back again. I’m also so happy that you have all the memories of that wonderful man and your blessed time together. Those are not granted to everyone and it’s a blessing that you loved him enough to be wounded when he’s gone. I hope that makes the sense I pray it does. 🥰😘❤️
