Felt like such a big decision one morning, but can you work out which one?!

Lovely shades of red, and the one you chose for over the mantel is perfect. The books, as a reader, draw me in, and I wish I was there in front of that bookcase with permission to borrow one. Have a happy weekend and thank you again for your squares and for hosting this challenge. I’ve really enjoyed it.
A fabulous colour Becky – and no, I can’t tell exactly which one you went with. We had our bedroom in Harrogate painted like this, and our estate agent told us to jolly well paint it in magnolia if we wanted to sell. Foolishly, we obeyed. But I’d loved that Moroccan vibe. Here’s mine today: https://margaret21.com/2025/07/26/hold-very-tight-please-ding-ding/
I love how people use colors , I would never have painted a red room, it does look great , warm and welcoming 😊. The second from bottom? We tend to be more into more neutral colors here. I usually have just one wall painted in color. Blue , green, copper and dark gray, the last two are wallpaper 😀
Most people the same here. It was just my walls were in such bad condition when I moved it that they had to be painted, and I decided my house wanted anything but white or magnolia!
‘Such a cosy room, the windows are illuminated by the evening sunshine through them….’ One of my all time favourites, Crosby, Stills and Nash. I think second from bottom, Becky. Happy weekend! xx

Beautiful! And a comfy place to sit and read/choose a book, Becky.

Sumptuous, Becky. Such a richly gorgeous shade, but I can’t tell which one. Middle one maybe. Love the fireplace too.
Only red in the post title today: https://tishfarrell.com/2025/07/26/a-red-letter-day-glimpsing-kilimanjaro/

I always find it crazy they say paint everything white.

Quite. Well, not ‘white’. ‘Magnolia’ or similar, please.

Hard to tell, I think it might be the bottom red. The finished room looks gorgeous.
