  8. Once I’d got past the sea of red the fag was the first thing I noticed too. Chris de Burgh is not my thing, so I’ll pass on that thanks! Though I confess to having heard him sing it live years ago, decades actually, when visiting our West Yorkshire friends. There was one of those radio roadshow things on in the Corn Market in Leeds and he just happened to be on when we went in.

      and it was part of the carnival in February – Mardi Gras – and so they were going round and round the village. The Moors once ruled Portugal
