Sorry if I have not yet caught up with your ‘‘Simply Red‘ July Squares, my three days of busyness turned into five and I didn’t start playing catch up until yesterday afternoon. Hope though to finish the catch up this morning, so I am on my way!
In the meanwhile don’t forget the one rule; your main photograph must be square.
Squares is a daily challenge hence me taking a quite few hours to catch up on four days worth of them. I am loving every square, and the amount and variety of red from the archives and recent finds is incredible. For those who have not yet joined us, don’t worry about the daily, feel free to post every other day, weekly or even just once this month. Don’t forget though to keep your photo square, and to pingback with #SimplyRed!
A little later today in posting but I wanted to paint the barn red!

Cute little fire station. What’s it used for now? Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/07/11/humuhumunukunukuapua%ca%bba/

the whole town was quaint, an unexpected find yards from a highway

Looks more like a lighthouse than a firehouse. Great architectural details.

you are so right. It was however in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada

It’s definitely different. And reminds me of a building in Pembroke that I could have used. More reds than I thought I had.

And following a red tractor today I was thinking about photographing it, but I was driving and already have more reds than days left.

Mmm… guess so. I usually just do one photo a day for squares.

you could play with us if you decide to create a review post at the end by adding in all the extras!

This is a good looking Fire Engine House! I wonder how many trucks can fit in that, looks tiny.
Here is my red for today: https://wanderingteresa.com/floral-friday-7/
