What an incredible month it has been celebrating seven magnificent years of squares. Thank you to everyone who has participated this month and over the past seven years. It has been a joy, and so many of you have become great friends. In fact I am meeting up with a few of you next month – I cannot wait!

I hope soon to share a few more galleries, but I am still travelling. Yes I know I left for Florida two weeks ago but as some of you know I am now in California. Here for another week or so and then I head up to Oregon to visit Cee. So additional galleries may have to wait until I am back in England in mid October. So to finish the month here’s a carousel of all my first day posts of every Squares Challenge since 2017. Simply click on a square to enjoy in more detail, or just sit back and watch for a few moments to see them all.
Dear BeckyB. This is my first try. I know, Squares in January is a chance to celebrate one of the oldest branches of mathematics – geometry. I will try for this. But before doing it, I wanted to try with my snow photographs. Just let me know did I make correct, I am new in this. Thank you, Love, nia

oh this is such a treat to have a prequel, and you have done brilliantly. I particularly like the last one, but they are all perfect for January squares

What a great title, or should I say MAGNIFICENT! As Elke so beautifully put it you have excelled yourself this month Becky, what with all the travelling. Not a single post missed. And I love the way you have ended this one, genius that you are. Actually I do have a bonus one for you tomorrow. I simply could not resist. And thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this month. It’s been a really positive way to deal with what was an enormous tragedy. And you of all people understand what that is like. My final post in my tribute to Alex is I hope, fitting, and I appreciate everyone one who has taken the time to visit me this month.

awww thanks Jude, and it has been a honour to have helped but also such a support to me to have been able to be there. This club we are both members of it so awful, that anything positive we can find means such a lot. Sending you and the family loads of hugs, and really hope one of these days I can hug you in person xxx

thank you so much, and yes cannot wait to see you. I’ll know for definite my plans this coming Friday. My cousin has had some heart surgery and so there’s a slight chance I will be travelling up to Oregon a couple of days later than initially planned. He’s pondering coming up to his place at Tahoe before I move on, and so I might have to delay my departure from here. However I will definitely be in your state by the 12th at very latest and so will be seeing you before I leave on the 14th.

I was getting ready to count birds until I scrolled down and saw there were way too many! I have some birds today amongst other things: https://grahamsisland.com/2024/09/30/the-final-seven/

Glad you realised before you started counting, although maybe I should count as perhaps there is a 7 in there.
