This was not my original post for today, but when I walked past this youngster earlier this week, I immediately thought of renew. I couldn’t help but stop for a moment and watch him scratch his itch!

His mother was not far away, and is also rather lovely and also, I thought, very small. I don’t really know cattle breeds but after a bit of research I am guessing she is a Dexter.

This is another challenge combination – Six Word Saturday and #SquaresRenew. You know the rules, so I won’t repeat them here simply follow the links if you are unsure.
Ooh, I’m going to have to have a scratch too! It’s catching. I’m with mother nature too today, thanks to Rebecca over at Fake Flamenco … https://margaret21.com/2024/05/11/a-frog-he-would-a-wooing-go/

Absolutely gobsmacked by the display. And it’s still going at an hour and 30 mins.

I love calves. They are so cute and so inquisitive. Then they grow up.

They are both very cute! I’m very wary of cattle these days but these do look quite unaggressive and unfazed by your presence.

Wise to be wary, but these two were on their own and the mum really was small. Plus I was behind a fence!

Very cute! I love calves. After many lovely encounters when walking the Camino I have stopped eating the meat.
Mine today is from Le Havre:

Don’t we all know that feeling, when you have an itch you can’t quite reach. Isn’t he a cutie.
