This was not my original post for today, but when I walked past this youngster earlier this week, I immediately thought of renew. I couldn’t help but stop for a moment and watch him scratch his itch!

His mother was not far away, and is also rather lovely and also, I thought, very small. I don’t really know cattle breeds but after a bit of research I am guessing she is a Dexter.

  3. What cute cows! They look like a cow version of a pony.

    The only animals around here are birds, squirrels, the Duke and the very fat hedgehog who lives under the backyard hedge.

    I’m not getting out to take pictures much, so it all is on our own property. I don’t think it’s going to get any better until August. Good think I’ve got flowers blooming and every-present birds.
