What would you have gone for this square – renew or burgeoning?
I have gone for the latter as the blossom was flourishing, and potential new branches are developing fast everywhere on this tree. By the way it seems the WP gremlins don’t like me moving fast with catch ups, as many of my comments yesterday I think have disappeared into spam. So if you’ve noticed I have not yet responded to your weekend squares, do take a peek into your spam. I might be in there!
I’m with Anabel, either would work with this photo. What type of tree is it? I have a comment from you on Sunday’s post but not on Saturday’s. And my spam box is empty so if you commented on Saturday I don’t know where it went. It’s all a bit strange at the moment. Even more strange is that I accidentally linked my post to Jude’s instead of yours. I went back in and fixed it so perhaps she will get a notification and think it’s weird too. At least it was me not WordPress. 🙂

ooh will go and see your Saturday post right now . . thanks for checking.
It is a cherry tree of some sort, I’ll ask my mum next time I see her as it is in her garden

A true joy of spring shot, Becky. I’m with Margaret – who cares, it’s wonderful to see this new growth. A great capture of life

Just back. Flew in yesterday and now recovering. Just uploading my photos (didn’t carry my laptop) so the one I just shared was from last year.

Hope jet jag not too awful, and that the photo upload isn’t too much hard work! Look forward to seeing this year’s collection, and all being well we might catch up in person soon

ah you’re another wise square diplomat like Anabel and Debbie 😀

Both work, but I’m leaning towards burgeoning as they’re beginning to grow from the trunk rather than resuming their growth 🤔 Here’s my cute square for the day: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/05/06/going-quackers-squaresrenew/

Your exchange with Brain makes a lot of sense, but this looks so fresh and new, I’m going for renewal, though who cares actually, it’s lovely. My post today is less pretty: https://margaret21.com/2024/05/06/its-hard-for-an-egg-to-turn-into-a-bird/

Despite his brain, let’s call him ‘Brian’, shall we? Sorry Brian!

You are allowed to go for renewal, and as Anabel says both work 🙂

Busting out all over doesn’t quite fit the theme, does it? And, yes- good old WP. I did receive and answer your response but in a disagreeable kind of WP magic, both have disappeared.

hee hee but muh more accurate!
oh no about the comments. WP gremlins are out and about. I’ve been noticing similar things these past few days – see one then disappears, can’t find it anywhere and then a few hours there it is where it first appeared. It is very strange

It’s a great image so let’s call it both! I feel the WordPress gremlins are working overtime at the moment, so many problems. Anyway, I have run out of pre-prepared posts so shall have to write something for you this morning.

I’m a burgeoner as the growth is bursting from the trunk. If it was renewal, the bark would be shedding as well 😁

ahha the botanical view point, and that makes such good sense too 😀

Oh no! I’m just talking without any proper scientific idea at all. Just seemed to make sense 🤔😀

Amazing show of renewal with the flowers growing directly from the trunk.
