I was looking for an ocean view to follow on from the theme announcement when I came across this fun video I took on the Cornish coastline in December 2022. With the help of Clideo (hence the watermark) I’ve even managed to square it! Isn’t this a fabulous move forward. I watch something different every loop.

Waves and Foam move forward at Sandymouth Bay

If you have yet not joined me and the rest of the Squares Gang, then don’t panic there is plenty of time to do so and you also have a choice on the theme this month. Your squares could move forward like mine are today, or you can reconstruct like I did yesterday, renew or go all out with burgeoning. It is totally up to you how you interpret the themes, and also your choice as to how often you square. I will visit every post, although as I mentioned yesterday, I am busy today moving between temporary homes so if you post today it might be tomorrow before I visit your square.

Some of you may have noticed my title is a 6WS as I like to occasionally link with other challenges when Squaring. It is a great way to invite new Squarers and catch up with old friends. What is also a bonus (especially for me when catching up after a day away) is using the tag #SquaresRenew. All of this though is optional, as you know the only must is that;

Your photograph must be square in shape

And for those who like facts; sea foam or spume is formed when dissolved organic matter in the ocean is agitated by wind and wave. Generally it is harmless, although if there are sewage outlets or toxins close to where it forms it will be best avoided. Likewise when the coastline disappears under it during major storms. You can discover more on it here.

Daisy loved the sea foam too!

  1. Silhouettes against a great sky….. still like being a kid and going along kicking the foam, a pleasure I don’t get to indulge in too often these days 🙂

    1. Clideon is a great free online platform for editing videos; and if you subscribe you don’t have to have their watermark which I have done in the past

  2. This is a fabulous - and clever – post. Mesmerising. And this is the one day this month (I think) when I shan’t be posting (‘Hooray’ I hear you say). It’s Six Days of Separation time, and I couldn’t work you into that. And I really don’t like posting more than once a day. My readers do have a life!

      I knew you’d be having a day away from Squares today, must send Mum your latest list as she got quite a few from the last one 🙂

      1. Oh thanks! I hope your mum finds something, and that this stage of your move goes well. I hope too that you’re installed now. Obviously you have wifi!

        1. Not yet – still with Mum, just having a cup of tea whilst I wait for my friend to take me across to BOA, and thought I’d quickly check in.

    1. ooh yay you have squared today.

      I am just having a cup of tea before my friend arrives to move me and a few bags and boxes to the next place. Leaving quite a bit with Mum, and trying not to think about the 6 containers in storage!

    1. thank you 🙂 the light was just so perfect that day. Have another shot of the beach for later in the month, no reflections or foam in that one, but something else that is rather beautiful too
