I’ve not figured out what the next stage of my life is going to look like but my resilience has recovered to a level where I am mostly moving forward. Not every day though, and certainly never as fast or direct as this boat!

Moving forward this month is going to include at least 31 squares; as we are in for a month of squaring. I do hope you can hop on board with me and the squares gang. There are four Squares themes, and you can use all or one, or a few of them;
Burgeoning – Move Forward – Reconstruct – Renew
Although there is theme choice, one rule remains unbreakable – You must keep your images square in shape. I will be squaring daily until the 31st May but it is up to you how frequently you square – daily, weekly, fortnightly or just once this month. Just as long as you stay square.
I personally prefer pingbacks and if you do too and you also like to plan ahead – here’s some technical know-how to help with that. My URLs will be as above but with the date reflecting the date of the post and the next number at the end. My post timings will reflect the date, so today’s post was published at 5:01 am and tomorrow will be 5:02 am and so on. If I have confused you with all this technical info, don’t worry you won’t be alone in thinking ‘what?’, simply ignore this paragraph!
If you have ignored that previous paragraph then a quick note to confirm it is totally up to you whether you pingback via your post or add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts. Both approaches work. It would though help me if you could use this month’s tag #SquaresRenew.
I will visit and comment on every Square, it may not be daily though as life can still become very challenging some days plus it is a busy month. However if you don’t hear from me within three days of squaring check your spam; it could be that the WP gremlins have been up to mischief! If it isn’t them and you think I’ve missed a square do send me another link or drop me line. I don’t want to miss any squares.
That photo of the boat plays with your eye in the water and land aspect. Thanks for hosting. Here is my day 1 entry.

It is a very strange estuary, with multiple sandbanks. Sometimes it feels like you can almost touch the furthest sandbank and other times it is very evident it is some distance away!
So glad you are joining us again, and via a new blog (for me at least)

3six5snap is a photo haiku kind of place. I started it so I wouldn’t use up all the space on my main one.

Wow, you already have 70+ comments, Becky. We all missed you and your squares challenges. Moving forward in steps is OK and time still goes by. Thank you for the great theme and I will join this month’s squares 1-2 times per week. Love the idea of the speedboat. Perfect. I know you already dropped by to read but there is my link:

Wonderful Becky that you are leading Squares again! It is such a fun challenge and you choose a very fitting theme. All the best for you and further recovery!
Unfortunately, I cannot embed my contribution into the comment form but you have my pingback from „Zeppelin over Lake Constance“.

Thank you so very much; and how strange about embedding in comment but yay that the pingback worked as you have shared such a brilliant moving forward

The theme for me this month will be Pippa and Cleo, as pets are always moving forward and renewing, as everyday is a new day to explore.

Fantastic to have you & squares back, Becky 😊 Took your title literally for this first one 😂 https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/05/01/hopping-on-board-beckys-squares/ I can’t promise every day, but I’ll be with you as often as possible 😁

I’m full of admiration Becky and more than pleased that you feel up to blogging again and even squaring! I hope to be moving forward with you every day, though some will be scheduled over this weekend as I am moving up to Surrey to spend time with my daughter.

You know already how pleased I am to see Squares return – not just because I love the challenge but also because it’s a marker of how far you’ve come already, that you feel able to lead it again 🤗 I’ll be joining in but later in the month with a ‘bulk’ set of squares as that suits my blogging style better. Meanwhile I’ll be enjoying what you and all the other participants come up with!

I’m sorry to admit that after all my excitement about the starting again, I totally forgot. Lol. But I’m definitely going to remember to chime in at least every so often. Lovely way to start the challenge (your photo, that is.)

hee hee, no worries about forgetting. Squares is good but life always remains more important. Will be lovely to see you as and when you can square

A wise move as if I am slow to approve pingbacks it can be a day or two before they appear. Delighted you are joining us again
