Odd that on my phone and then on the computer I was asked to subscribe and also the post was shown as no comments. Then I clicked on already subscribed and was asked for my password even though I am always logged in to WP. I just refreshed the page and miraculously I am able to comment and see the other comments and the photo! I do wish WP would stop messing around. Anyway, it is a lovely photo – is this the view of the Tor from your mum’s place? If so she must live in a beautiful area. I hadn’t realised you could see the Tor from Castle Cary, but I know from driving in Somerset in 2021 that you can unexpectedly come across such a view.

And yes can see the Tor easily from her garden, in fact from the back door step. You can also occasionally hear Glastonbury itself – the Kylie and David Attenborough crowds were heard by her!
