Over the new few posts I will be proving that I have been getting out in all weathers! I am finding that bad weather walks are good for my mind, and there is even scientific evidence to prove that, check this article out.

Good on you for continuing to walk in the rain. I bet it does feel exciting and refreshing. I love being out in stormy weather, especially the wind.
Here is my entry for the day.

I can recall running around a playground on windy days with arms out wide, maybe I should try doing the same as an adult!

Good for you! I tend to avoid walking on rainy days. I will have to change my thinking. 😊

Oh, you are so brave! Keep it up, if you can. Our weather so far has been not so bad for November, we had a few rainy days , but also nice and sunny ones.
This is mine from one of my forest walks near our home:

Beautiful walkway, but maybe a bit muddy after the rain. I don´t mind walking in the rain.

Your photo does look a tad gloomy! Good for you getting out and about in it. I liked the article you linked to. Not sure about the walking backwards though! Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2022/11/23/halemaumau-trail-and-crater/

Becky, Good for you to walk in all kinds of weather. I have some autumn colours to share. The leaves are mostly gone now and it’s a nice day here for a walk.

I enjoyed the article, Becky. My husband and I used to do winter hiking and want to get back to it when he’s fully recovered. I think I might try walking backwards but in the park where there are fewer tripping hazards. It would be easier if someone was with me and walking forward to keep an eye on where we’re going.
