In honour of the birthday girl today here’s a bonus walking square from my walk with her on Wednesday. Robert loved rainbows so we stopped for a moment. If you look very carefully you can see the double rainbow as well as the Birthday girl’s gorgeous and very well behaved dog. Daisy may have been having too much fun exploring to stop with us but she has lovely manners compared to this morning’s one.

I believe double rainbows are very common but we are not always able to see them. I’m thankful for being able to see them from time to time.

A rainbow promises better times to come so I always love to see them and there have been a lot this last month. We could all do with some better times I think. I remember seeing one when I was on the train to my new job in Norway many years ago and considered it to be a lucky omen. It was one of the best jobs I have ever had.
