I am honoured to have received a very special invite, on this the 5th Wednesday of March. It is for Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge. If you have not come across CMMC before, every week Cee invites us to have some fun. The first Wednesday is macros, the second a colour, the third you pick a topic from her photo and the fourth she goes all alphabetical. If there is a fifth Wednesday, like today, the topic is up to the guest host.

Guess what that was the special invite; I am the guest host! I wasn’t too sure what my topic would be but Cee in her invite had suggested that it might be a great introduction to tomorrow’s Squares. Isn’t she brilliant. So today specially for CMMC here are images that shine bright but haven’t made it into next month’s challenge.

And have you spotted they are not square! It isn’t April yet so you don’t have to square anything, we can all enjoy and share bright rectangles. If you are like me I know there is always at least one image which refuse to square, so today’s the day to show it off.

If you want more information on this challenge, go to Cee’s link to CMMC Home page for more information and if you have enjoyed today why not join Cee again next week, her upcoming CMMC topics are;

  • 7th April – Close Up or Macro
  • 14th April – Colour (Light or Neon Green)
  • 21st April – Pick a Topic from Cee’s Photo
  • 28th April – Alphabet (Letter E at the beginning or ending of a word)

And don’t forget you can join me again tomorrow when our bright images will be square!

  1. Great to let off the rectangular steam before going square for 30 days! Here’s a wet but bright scene from up north. (I’ll explain why as part of my show and tell on Saturday)

  2. Ok, now just wait! First Brian, then you (I’m working my way backwards through the Reader) and it’s not even April yet AND tomorrow is Thursday Doors day so I’m debating whether to add an extraneous bright square or double post, which I don’t normally do. I think I need to sit down and have some more tea and think. It brightened our day, though, to have my husband get his second Covid vaccination and our daughter in California got her first. That just leaves one more for her and one/two for our daughter in Philadelphia. Good stuff and thankfully no bad reactions so far.
