A very warm welcome to all my lovely new followers, and a huge thank you to everyone who has joined me in helping to make sure 2020 starts well. You have been such an inspiration; illuminating us all with your squares of delight, moonlight, sunlight, daylight, lamplight, flight, starlight and the many creative hyphenated lights and compound nouns. We even had a plight and slight yesterday! I cannot wait to see what other words ending in light you will be sharing, as you can see I am hooked on twilight at present.
For those who are not sure what is happening there are a few of us beginning the year with a photography challenge. The theme is words ending in light and our tag is #JanuaryLight. The only rule is that the main photograph must be SQUARE, however I will ask if I’m unsure what your word ending in light is!
Thank you also to everyone who has left a comment as well as a pingback on my square posts.
Conversations with you make the challenge so much more fun for me, and of course your pingbacks will enable me to include a link to your photograph with 4 equal sides in one of the galleries. I will probably do the first one after the weekend. If you are still confused by what is going out why not visit the official squares page by clicking on my logo, which I am delighted to see some of you have been using in your posts. What joy we are having this month.

You can never have too many pretty twilights!

Happy with archives . . . I am drawing upon them at least 40% this month

I’ve probably got two more endurance race photos for the month so I thought I would get the first in early so I can spread them out.

I could have used a few twilights, but I’m trying to vary my lights. There was a rather pretty one last night though which might appear. Or maybe more than one in a post. Today though we are going for a very different kind of light: https://wp.me/pL5Ms-4VA
PS As with lines I am now seeing lights everywhere, there were some under the eaves of a pub on a walk yesterday, but didn’t work in a photo, some lovely twinkly ones on a house as I drove by, and some very nice streetlights, again I was driving. I can see this becoming an(other) obsession!

oops sorry about the obsession! I am suffering the same but quite a bit isn’t working quite as I hoped so I am falling back on archives for quite a bit in the middle of month, and of course twilight. I just cannot resist it!

Twilight sets the sky alight – I would be happy to see one of these every day!

Now that would be amazing . . . although maybe there is the risk we would get a little blasé?

I love this twilight photo as well, another beautiful sky. My response is seeing more sky by removing the roof: https://wp.me/p2owKx-1o8
A risky venture here in England 🙂
