With a swoop of bangs and sparkles January Light takes flight, and I am sure I won’t be the only one starting this month’s squares with large firelights and other delights!
It would be great if you could join me daily, but you can post whenever inspiration highlights a square. Together we can alight this month with squares of sunlight, penlights, candlelight, searchlights, starlight, headlights, stoplights, taillights, flashlights, moonlight, fanlights, taperlight, floodlights, torchlight, skylights, gaslight, streetlights, and twilight. Or whatever word(s) ending in light scintillates you over the next thirty-one days. We’ve got plenty of choice with more than fifty words in the English language ending in light, and even more in other languages. So whilst I am not expecting any squares of trothplight we can share the limelight under all the spotlights!
The tag is #JanuaryLight and the only challenge rule is that your main photograph must be SQUARE.
It would be so lovely if you could leave a comment as well as your pingback on square posts. Conversations make the challenge so much more fun, and the pingbacks enable me to include a link to your square in one of the galleries of words ending in light.
You are very welcome to use either logo in your square posts. For more information on how Squares works check out the official squares page by clicking on my square logo, but all you really need remember about this photographic challenge is that a square is a rectangle with four equal sides!
Here’s to a great 2020, full of kindness and delight!

Happy New Year Becky! I look forward to seeing what people will share this month.

Well that’s a cracking start! I have fireworks somewhere along the line, but not today. Today I am trying to be hopeful that the big yellow blob in the sky makes a return. Who stole the Sun?
