Over the next 10 days here in Winchester and across England doors will be opening, talks and walks will be happening and there will be live performances everywhere!
That’s because it is Heritage Open Days, and here in Winchester I, along with my fabulous fellow director Nicky and a few other local volunteers, have helped organise nearly 150 different events to celebrate our fantastic history, architecture and cultural heritage. Many events are taking place at multiple times over multiple days, others are a one off. There is something for every age and every interest and every event is FREE. To find out what is happening across England click here and for Winchester here. And don’t forget to look out for the HODs gnomes!!
Have a wonderful time!

Happens every September across England, and the rest of Europe also hosts Open Days but at different times of the year.
