    1. I know it is odd isn’t it . . . . but we love the fact we can.

      Portuguese law requires all non Portuguese EU citizens who have been here 90days to register with the local authorities within 30days of the 90th day – and that registration automatically gives you 5year residency no matter how long you then stay after the 90days.

      2. If we leave with no deal then you need to have arrived before 29th March for the clock to start. So you might need to get your skates on 😉

        If we leave with a deal then you have until 31st December 2020 to register so that gives an arrival date of 30th September 2020!
