    1. Their traditional water pipes off the roofs are very different, and it’s unusual to see them on buildings of this size. It looks as though it is made out of terracotta, but others I have seen are metal, and look like guns on an old ship!

      6. Well it’s very warm for a European winter so jumpers should be fine, but given your summer heatwave you might need to bring a fleece and thermals!!

      9. I reckon I would. A good meal and concentrating on folders of photos will keep me warm. and the occasional walk with coffee and cake will be good to 🙂

    1. Ooh yes it does look like a ship side doesn’t it. It’s in fact the side of a building, with Portuguese roof drain pipe and modern day wires underneath!
