What are you going to do in March? I was planning to go totally square two weeks today but then reality struck!
Busy diary means I will find it too much of a challenge to post every day with new photos and my archives are not as square as I had thought. So I’ve decided to run with ‘Squared Square’ and ‘Squaring the Circle’ for the month of March.
- Squared Square’ – think multiple squares and squares within squares
- ‘Squaring the Circle’ – the perfect post will be a circle within a square
You can combine the two together, go alternate days or swap over mid way. Totally up to you what you do, just remember that however you play your #MarchSquare your photo must be square!
I think I got it. I think. Maybe 😀

Thank you. It was an experiment that came out okay. I wasn’t at all sure it would work until I finished it 🙂

It sounds fun, but I’m not sure I can find many photos!

I certainly was struggling until I expanded it to include circles, and then it was a case of which do I schedule. So you might be surprised when you look in the archives . . . . but even one will be great.

Hey, great idea, and such fun reading all the comments! I did this for a theme on my 365 project about two years ago (https://365project.org/dibzgreasley/tags/circles-in-squares) and loved it, so might try it again. Once you start looking for circles in squares, they start popping up everywhere! I will definately have a go and even thinking it might be my project theme for March… thanks Becky.

Hecky thump! I may have to improvise here and think outside the box. Could be interesting. 😀

So … this is starting at the beginning of March? Just making sure! It’ll take a while to get two weeks of pictures put together anyway, so good to have a little time!

Yes day one is 1st March 😊 normally I don’t give this much notice but occurred to me might be sensible this month!! Then it’s daily for the whole of month but entirely up to you how often you post.

I’m in the middle of scheduling and have just realised it is trickier than I thought!! However I am now beginning to see squares and circles everywhere, so hopefully you will too over the next couple of weeks 🙂

I shall be happy to try and do my usual think outside the box for squares within a square or some circles within a square or perhaps some circles within a square within a square or squares within circles within a square. I shall endeavour to exclude triangles if possible 🙂 🙂 🙂

I think I’m getting a headache, and it’s not just last night’s wine 🙂 🙂 Did you have a nice day yesterday? I think you get company today/tomorrow but if you have a luncheon opportunity in the next 2 weeks just let me know. We can manage most days other than Tuesday.

Oh have I really made it complicated? Seemed so simple in my mind but maybe that was the wine too!!!
They arrive lunchtime 😀 and thank you I’ll look at the diary and advise asap 😊

I’ll look forward your answers to Marilyn’s questions. I’ll start circling my archives.

Hiya have fun going through your archives.
As I’ve explained to Marilyn circles are only one option for content the other is multiple squares, and you can also combine squares with circles!

Okay. I’m a little lost here. What exactly is the challenge other than being square picture? Does the picture need to include a circle inside the square photo? Or is there some other option? I know everyone but me has done this before, but i don’t know what I’m supposed to do. Sorry. Short explanation would be appreciated.

Hi Marilyn
Thanks for your questions.
As you’ve rightly picked up the photo needs to be square.
Then the content needs to be of ‘multiple squares’ and/or of “circles with squares or within a square’
Hope this makes sense.
