It has been a while since I explained the #SquareSky rules so here’s a reminder. The only rule is that the photograph should be a square! So sky reflections are allowed as is the moon, a peep at the sky, a city skyline and even a sky that is completely blue. I only decided to focus on Algarvian December skies because my album is huge and advance scheduling helps me survive a daily blogging challenge.
If you have not yet joined in, what are you waiting for?! I’d be delighted if you joined me and the rest of the #SquareSky movement, namely Cee, Debbie, Brian, Jude, Jo, Candace, Roda, Kaz, Lisa, Mama, Carol and Geritarix. I think I have remembered everyone. If I have had a memory lapse though do let me know and I will rectify it straight away.
PS: forgot to say that I really like your reflection shot!

Hi Becky. I never thought of doing reflection, thanks for the inspiration. I’d also love to be added to your list (“SquareSky Movement”), but not sure that I count, as I’m only doing the weekly roundup.

I’ll definitely add you Debs in my next roundup as you certainly count. The only rule is square so weekly is fine 😁
And so pleased the reflection one has inspired, I just couldn’t miss that one out.

Oh yes, a reflection is definitely allowed!! Lovely. And so cheerful on such a cold day here today.

You confused me today as I saw the elevated post first and the link to SquareSky and thought that was your square today! Glad I found this. I love the reflection, but I ADORE the header image with that lovely light in the sky. As for squares, I know mine are, but I still think the vertical sides look longer than the horizontal edges. Maybe it is just the way WP presents them, I have a BIG sky for you today 🙂

Hee hee . . . .sorry, just couldn’t resist Debbie’s elevation, and my earlier sky had already gone out!
Very odd with what happens to the squares, I was thinking the same until I turn the screen and realised it was definitely me and not the square!
And I love the header too . . . . . one of my favourites 🙂

I like the square idea even though I don’t Instagram! Must get the camera out when the grey overcast gloomy snowflakes pass!

No worries about not doing instagram, very few of my squares have ended up there. Just not organised enough to do both!!
Love to see your sky once the grey passes 🙂

It’s funny how the mast reflections make it not look square, though I know it is. 🙂 🙂 Lovely shot and thanks for the link. No time to visit the others today but I’ll catch up. Heading to Leeds shortly, with sledge, and hoping the snow isn’t too bad en route. Happy Sunday!

Travel safe…… we’ve got heavy rain down here so galoshes are needed rather than sleighs!
