At a Death Cafe you have the opportunity to drink tea, eat cake and talk about death. It can be anything about death – maybe sharing with someone what would be important to you at your end of life, talking about death means to you, sharing stories or maybe just sitting and listening.teacup2

It isn’t a grief support or counselling session but it is a chance to discuss death with people who also want to talk about death.  The best bit of course there is lots of cake! Want to know more?

Well if you are in Winchester tomorrow afternoon join us. You can book your free place by clicking here. If you are not in Winchester then why not visit the official Death Cafe website and find a Death Cafe near you.

    1. Thanks Anabel . . . . they are excellent so if you see one again near you do try.
I think we may have got the timing wrong for ours as it looks as though only a few people have booked in, but guess that means more indepth discussions!

      1. Strangely, later last night I picked up a brochure for a cross-Scotland festival that’s happening next month and it included a Death Cafe! In Edinburgh though. So never having heard of them, I read about them twice in one day.
