I have been loving everyone’s squares, so many great shadows. If you have not yet joined us this month then don’t worry there is still plenty of time.

I am squaring daily and mostly focusing on dark shapes, silhouettes and reflective shadows but you don’t need to do the same! The dictionaries highlight that shadows can also be an illusory image, a remnant of a thing, an imitation, an inseparable companion and of course partial light. The frequency of your squares can be whatever suits you and your blog. The only thing you have to remember is to stay square with your November Shadows.
Finally I make it to join you for the lst few days of November. Hope all well. And thanks for your inspiration.

What a wonderful idea for November. We have had such dramatic weather in our Sierra that there has been mainly rain and no shadows just heavy grey skies but yes, finally the sun comes out and the shadows emerge. I will post soon as this has inspired me and I have some photos now! Just recovering from a significant birthday with friends in both Spain and now the UK. Hope you are well and glad to see you squaring us all into action as the dark nights draw in.

Love this, as well as your highlight from the dictionary as to what shadows can be! I must admit, I am putting my post together and was obsessing over if silhouettes can be considered shadows. It looks like they can be 🙂👍

they certainly can – and the only rule ever in squares is that your image must be square. So have fun with the shadows
