Wasn’t slipperly at all – the most challenging time outside was when it was windy on the first evening. Then I did stay close to the ship rather than rails!
The rain stopped after about an hour then dry for rest of the crossing
You must have felt a sense of calm in the rain…especially when you’re by yourself. I don’t mind the rain on temperate weather but not during winter like it is now here in Melbourne. It is better to stay under the blankets.
Was the foghorn going? It’s such an eerie sound.

I’m with Graham and Jo. Although I’m thinking you’re rather singular.

I think there’s something special about being able to hear the sea but not see it very well, so I can understand why you would enjoy this 😀

Fabulous photo Becky. Did you have your non-slip shoes on? I would have gone bare foot

Sometimes on ferries we have found ourselves almost the only people on deck and we rather liked that, so I understand your feelings.

A lot better than being cooped up in a cabin, certainly!

Love the sheen on the deck. Was it slippery?

No surprisingly. Perhaps it is the wood they use for the decks?

That would be interesting to know.
