I love how the ocean can be glassy calm or a raging froth of whitecaps. There’s a lot to be said for both of them. I suspect you were probably happy to experience the former!

Where is the iceberg? If the sea is so still it’s very hard to tell if an iceberg is in the way because of no waves breaking … (they showed Titanic last night on TV again – I only caught a couple of scenes because I hate dubbed versions).

Maybe the heat wave conditions in England and the US may contribute to calm seas 🤔

maybe – although a fellow passenger and I did notice we quite often were avoiding black or low clouds. With so much space I think the captain was aiming for a smooth crossing
