Every day I walked a minimum of eight miles, and one day I managed nearly twice that. It takes three circuits of the largest deck to achieve 1.1 miles.

With a mesmerizing view as such by your side, this 1.1 miles is nothing 🙂

I was going to ask about the space to walk, but I see you went behind the chairs. I’d do the same as you and walk around a lot, though I don’t keep track of my steps like you!

I only track to remind me to walk more on the days I am not!

Well done! That’s a lot of walking at any time.

Certainly haven’t kept up that rate since I have got back home!

It doesn’t look like a very big walking space between the chairs and the rails. Did you have stellar weather? It sure looks amazing in your picture.

ah you don’t walk that side you walk behind them, so people in the chairs can enjoy the view without interruption

That’s a lot of circuits then! But with the sea for company I imagine each one felt slightly different 🙂

That’s a lot of deck, but that last sky says it all xx

Cool 😎 Thanks for sharing 🙂 I saw a view like that 50 yrs ago on the USS Ranger in the South China Sea. The promenade deck was called a ‘catwalk’ and there were no life boats. ⚓️

On my goodness . Where were the lifeboats?

Folk are always up early for a promenade on deck on a cruise (sorry crossing). Enjoy the morningcsun and fresh sea air.

I rarely did just 3, most days more like 30!

Looks like a narrow space to promenade Becky

You could get three abreast behind the chairs so only felt narrow at busy times

Did you encounter many real slow strollers and have to elbow then out of your way 😂

it is why I always walked the opposite way to everyone else!

That’s a good plan. You go anti-clockwise?

no weirdly they were all going anti clockwise so I was going clockwise – be interesting to see which way they go round on the way back
