By the time we woke up at the end of our cruise last year we were already docked in Southampton but the day we left on the cruise two weeks before it was warm and sunny and we stayed out on deck for ages watching as we sailed through the Solent. It was wonderful.

it is a glorious stretch of water when sunny! I used to travel across it weekly when I was on the Isle of Wight
