Where has the time gone? The last couple of weeks of this month seem to have flown past.
It has been such a fun month and your geometry has been fabulous; no wonder the balloons are out. I have also loved being able to share so many squares from my North American trip and I can’t wait to share more of that holiday. Probably with a few more in oblongs though! But those are posts for another day, today it is all square at the diner in Truckee.

American diners are so great, takes me back to when I was a teenager and we’d go to the Wimpy bar for milkshakes which was modelled on a diner with the bar stools etc.
I’ve enjoyed this month, but the flu bug really stopped me from visiting others and it’s lucky I had scheduled posts as I wouldn’t have managed to be on the computer during the first half of the month. I will try and visit your galleries now I’m feeling better.

ah they were the days . . .
and so pleased you are finally feeling better. It sounds like the flu has been a horrid one this year. Just hoping I haven’t got something as feeling under the weather myself today

Oh, I hope you haven’t picked up the flu bug, it really is a nasty one. I can understand why some people need help with their breathing, I was quite breathless at times.

Hey love the classic diner. We used to have some here in Melbourne but I think they’re all gone now.

I love classic American diners like this one – reminds me of Happy Days and the Fonz 😀 But while I’ve enjoyed seeing lots of snippets of your US trip throughout the month I’m also interested to see more when you’re no longer constrained by squares!

I love the colour scheme though it does look as though it could do with a fresh coat of green.

yeah it is on a busy corner – railroad and two roads so think it gets very dusty

Squares has been particularly brilliant for me this month. It’s given me a chance to showcase our January travels, just as you’ve rather focussed on your time in America. The sadness has been I’ve just not been able to follow up much on other Squarers, which is always part of the fun. Here’s mine for today: https://margaret21.com/2025/01/30/geometry-in-vitre/

oh so glad you have enjoyed it, you really have been extraordinary squaring as you travel. And there is always the final gallery to catch up with – hopefully will curate it in a few days

I’m sure you’ll have been to this place, Becky. The educational facility there has been improved but the mill itself is quite rundown. They could do so much with it!
Thank you for the challenge. The subject has provided such a range of opportunities and I’ve really enjoyed following it. I’m off into the hills to be blown about today so I’ll catch up later.

Thank you dear BeckyB, it is an honour for me too, to be here. You are so nice person. When I met with you and with your blog, I was a student as if… in all these years, your photographs inspired me, and also being a guide for my humble photography. I learned and learning too. You really made me days energic and motivated… In here, in my country days, life is not good… There are million problems and million tragic events… In my own tower I try to feel better in peace… And you are one of them. Thank you, Much Love, nia
