There is beauty to be found in cityscapes, especially where there are also trees, water and plenty of space for the sky and sunshine. There is also geometry everywhere!

It is day eighteen of GeometricJanuary, and I am back in Miami. I was surprised how much I liked this city. I can’t wait to share more with you, today though I am focused on Squares and 6WS, which means I really must stop writing!

I would happily return for a second trip as so much I didn’t see.

I don’t think the City of London has as much open space around it.

I think you are right!
We were really surprised just how much space there was in Miami – guess they have more land to spread out on as well as the ocean to provide a break

The best cities have lots of open spaces and plenty of trees. We had exactly the same reaction in Santiago when we were there in November and December. We really had no expectations and were surprised and delighted to find it was just like that – beautiful tree-lined streets and big areas of parkland. It was quite lovely.

We were so impressed with Santiago. It’s quite beautiful, especially with the Andes as a backdrop.

It’s from your yesterday (which is still my today), but WP changed on my laptop, and it’s weird, so I couldn’t find the share button.
