My 13th GeometricJanuary square, and one I have been waiting to share since the prequels.

Geometry and libraries; a place for animators, architects, artists, astronomers, carpenters, cartographers, designers, engineers, landscape gardeners, navigators, scientists, urban planners and I hope also the Squares Gang.

Anyone can be a member of the Squares gang as long as you remember your main image must be Square in shape!
It is okay though to include the odd rectangle alongside your square image, and it would help me enormously if you use the tag GeometricJanuary
What a very geometric building, and a most glorious roof! Alas, I no longer can find my images of Vienna’s Stephansdom, which has a glorious pattered roof. Anyway, here’s mine for today: https://suejudd.com/2025/01/13/geometric-construction-2/

Fab isn’t it – so glad I stayed downtown as usually tourists to LA rarely explore this part of town. I love yours today

That’s a beauty. What a gorgeous roof. And it’s hard to appreciate the building fully from the floor.

I hardly noticed it when I first walked past – it was only later when I was in another part of town that I saw the roof and realised how splendid the whole building was. So obviously I returned for a closer look.

I think the whole of the US trip did as now looking back through the photographs I see I had a tendency to go for the geometric shots!

Hi Becky! What a beautiful photo, that roof is amazing and very geometric! I have put together a Square Challenge post for this fun challenge. I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated thinking I would not have many photos that would have geometry. But I did find things in my photos, and I am finding geometry is all around us and I know what makes up the world! I hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you for all you do! And for being YOU! ❤ Sending warm hugs your way. Here is my link!

This is the perfect geometric photo! I wonder if that fancy roof is painted or mosaiced.
