Chris and Cee have been so appreciative of your virtual flowers, love and kind words since my last update as have I. And they need your thoughts, prayers and good wishes even more now.

I am really sorry to tell everyone that despite an improvement last week, Cee is still in hospital and things have taken a turn for the worst. She will be coming home in the next day or so for hospice (palliative) care.

Chris took me to see this, it is in her and Cee’s home town

I cannot imagine what Cee and Chris are going through right now, but know that being able to come home for her end-of-life care is helping them both enormously. It is though heart breaking news for everyone who knows this wonderful couple, whether in person or through the blogging world. I will be staying in regular contact with Chris so please do leave any messages you want to send them below and I will forward.

  4. It’s been a month now since Cee lasted posted her FOTD, or any other post. I just wish her wellness and peace through what she is enduring since last month. And for Chris as well for standing beside her.

  6. Such sad news. I did many off Cee’s photo challenges, and always enjoyed the creativity of her work. She is a bright spot in the world. I’m so glad I was able to see her work. Sending Chris and Cee warm thoughts of support.

  8. Cee, I rarely participated in your challenges and I didn’t even check out the posts every day, but daily I was glad to see the announcement of a post in my inbox! It reminded me that there are so many creative people out there looking for the beauty in each day, in ordinary life.

    And when I did participate, so often you dropped in and left a warm and inspiring comment!

    I also loved your generosity in making us all aware of all the other blog challenges to inspire us. You are like the Wikipedia of blog challenges, the one we know to turn to when we have the time and motivation to join in with a creative group!

    So even though I have been a sporadic participant, you have had a big influence on my blogging life! Much love to you and Chris.
