Spotted this not far from my front door, and with the thought of September Squares already in my head it brought to mind the phrase (or at least the alternative version May to December) that could have been used for Robert and I in our early days together. With a 25 year age gap, it probably was by many of our family, friends and acquaintances!

Seven is theme for September Squares as it was seven years ago that squares was launched. September also happens to be the seventh month in the Roman calendar. To join in this fun challenge you somehow include seven in your photograph, and that can include taking a photograph anytime during the 7th hour, the 7th month or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring. Whatever you decide to do though don’t forget your photograph must be square and that you only have until Monday 30th September!
great spot leading to a great idea!

A lovely (and appropriate) house number. – And yes, September is drawing close and that is the time when I have to start editing which square to still show, which square to leave out. So I decided to sneak in two today (in the process forgetting about the title): https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2024/09/27/79376/

I’ll check. I received ’likes’ from you but few comments of late. I know you’re travelling and can be stretched for time.

It looks a lovely house, Becky. 25 years is a big gap, and I imagine you had a few nay sayers at first, but it worked for you and Robert obviously won them round. (I just realised, with mock horror, that there’s roughly the same age gap between you and me!)

Lovely find. Hoping for some sunny weather this weekend, but for today I have to brave the rain on my way to work and probably on my way home as well. 🙂
