It is not the first time I have shared a photograph from this day for a Squares Challenge, but on the previous occasions my attention was focused elsewhere – once on the timing, another on the wavelight and most recently on the perspectives.

Now as long as you can count to seven I am pretty relaxed about how everyone interprets the theme and the rules are also pretty flexible;
- it is a daily challenge but many are posting every 7 days (obviously) and a few plan just one square and a couple of other Squarers are working on seven posts for the month.
- pingback via your post and you may also want to add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts.
- please do use this month’s hashtag SevenforSeptember.
- and remember the one non-negotiable – your main image must be Square in shape!
I am travelling by train for more than twelve hours today (or tomorrow if you’re on Californian time like me), so please be patient if I am slow approving pingbacks and tardy with regards visiting your squares. And do check your spam folders regularly as I have discovered that because I am doing major catch ups before and after travelling days the WP gremlins are often hiding my comments in spam.
A windy day at the coast… perfect 👌 Here’s mine: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/09/20/7-steps-sevenforseptember/

Who doesn’t love crashing waves? Providing it’s not during a Proper Storm. Hope your jouney is going/has gone well.

starting very shortly – haven’t checked yet to see if it is on time. They have been known to be hours late!

A powerful photo Becky.
Here is mine, but of all the photos only one is square. https://wanderingteresa.com/angono-a-fun-place-to-be/

as long as one is square you know I’ll be happy 🙂

it was actually surprisingly warm, we had taken coats as foggy in Porto itself but on the coast gorgeous warm December sunshine!

That sounds like a good way to see California, Becky. I love the photo but your title misled me- I had just been into my dashboard and observed that I have 5 squares posts, so far, and perhaps another 2 would complete the set. Bit early for higher maths, over here. Have a great day!

another two sounds great, but you can always do more 😉

Isn’t it interesting how one photo can provide different perspectives on the same view.

Exactly 🙂

I like a stormy sea scene. I was thinking of recycling some older squares but that required too much counting just to make sure 😂
Anyway I had fun finding new squares subjects among my photo folders and also taking a few new photos x

bizarrely I haven’t reused the photo but just found multiple shots from the same pier. I got carried away that day!

I love the ocean spray in this photo and it made me wonder if you got wet. Happy travel day!

we managed to avoid the spray as despite its strength it was staying pretty much in the same place – others though were not so lucky at the end of the pier!

Warm and sunny, but at the same time the stormy water gives a feeling of Autumn.

Yes it was December hence the strength of the waves, but also surprisingly warm and sunny
