I just happened to look out one of the windows of my rented apartment and spotted this. A good way to the start the morning.

Seven is theme for September Squares as it was seven years ago that squares was launched. September also happens to be the seventh month in the Roman calendar. To join in this fun challenge you could take a photograph at 7am, 7pm or anytime during the 7th hour, or the 7th month (which can be July or September!). Perhaps you have a favourite shot taken 7 months ago or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring. The number 7 might appear in your photograph or perhaps you want to go out and discover 7 objects. Whatever you decide to do though don’t forget your photograph must be square!
I counted 7 red-tile rooftops as well 😃 Mine for today: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/09/16/7-swans-sevenforseptember/

Great view! Love the fabulous tower (and the balloon). With a lot of squinting I counted the seven tops.

sadly not going to be able to show you this exact view, however we can see variations on it. The tower was the town hall but now a Catholic church

BoA is good at reusing buildings, although agree this one is rather unusual. Haven’t yet been inside, maybe we can do that when you visit

That would be interesting.

There’s something so uplifting about seeing a hot air balloon, isn’t there? My post today is less uplifting: https://margaret21.com/2024/09/16/seven-years-ago-in-krakow/

something you might ever try? I loved it, although the landings are a bit daunting

No, I’d love to do this. For my 80th maybe?

that sounds like an excellent plan – abroad is better as less likely to be cancelled because of the weather!

Indeed. Though theere is a Hot Air Balloon Emporium near here so we do sometimes see tem overhead – not as often as you might expect though (weather?)

ah I don’t have this one anymore, as this was just a temporary one. I can though stand in a similar spot within 3 minutes walk of my front door 🙂
