I just happened to look out one of the windows of my rented apartment and spotted this. A good way to the start the morning.

Seven is theme for September Squares as it was seven years ago that squares was launched. September also happens to be the seventh month in the Roman calendar. To join in this fun challenge you could take a photograph at 7am, 7pm or anytime during the 7th hour, or the 7th month (which can be July or September!). Perhaps you have a favourite shot taken 7 months ago or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring. The number 7 might appear in your photograph or perhaps you want to go out and discover 7 objects. Whatever you decide to do though don’t forget your photograph must be square!

Never knew this.
I started thinking that you moderate comments.
Strangely ping is not working and every time I have to paste my URL of the post in your comment box. Looks like … My post url is marked as spam 🤔
Thank you, Becky for these rescue missions.

I’m squinting hard and can’t enlarge the photo so I am not sure if that balloon actually has a basket attached or is just a tethered one advertising Mr Branson’s products. I used to see Virgin balloons often over Haslemere. Not seen any here. Lovely view though. Hope you are getting some lovely views where you are at the moment.

It’s a real one, and yes sorry didn’t have camera at time so was done on phone. I have not seen another one since but not sure if that’s because my own house doesn’t have sufficient windows looking the right direction or whether this was a one off route
