Well Septimus has to make an appearance in #SevenforSeptember, and yes he did get his lovely name because he was my seventh cat. And yes he probably had the biggest personality of them all!

There have not been many Square Challenges where Septimus hasn’t made an appearance and it isn’t his first Six Word Saturday either! However he didn’t make into the very first squares. As back in 2017 I hadn’t realised it was going to be a challenge! I think he’d approve of us celebrating the number seven, and if you haven’t yet joined us why not join us today on the seventh day. I have jotted down below some ideas for your Squares;
- share a photograph which was taken at 7am, 7pm or anytime during the 7th hour
- or maybe a photograph taken on the 7th of the month or in the 7th month, which can be either July or September!
- perhaps you have a favourite shot taken 7 months ago, on a 7 mile hike or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring.
- the number 7 might appear in your photograph or you could photograph 7 objects
- or perhaps you know of
a felinesomeone or a place with seven in their name!

Before you start having fun with the number seven this month let me quickly remind you of the challenge rules. As regular squarers know, these are very simple and mostly flexible;
- it is a daily challenge but many will be posting every 7 days (obviously) and a few might post just once and a couple of other Squarers have said they plan seven posts for the month.
- pingback via your post and you may also want to add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts. Please do use this month’s hashtag SevenforSeptember.
- as you can see pretty relaxed rules apart from one absolute; your main image must be Square in shape!
Septimus is adorable.

Oh, yes, I was waiting for him to make an appearance. TBH I thought he would be your first choice. Such a lovely boy. I have a couple of cuties for you today too.

Good old Septimus! I’m sure he would have approved of Seven as a theme! Heres my post for today: https://suejudd.com/2024/09/07/seven-for-september-7/

Yes, of course he was expected. 😽 And you did a great job of photographing him. I love our Henry, of course, but a black cat is … less photogenic. 😸
I’ve got another roof seven, this time they kept very still: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2024/09/07/seven-on-the-roof/

oh I think Henry is very photogenic, but as you say there is something about a ginger tom!

No show without Septimus! Our son has just acquired a tiny 6 week old Bengal kitten. Extremely endearing! They chose Pablo because the he’s a breed that produces the least allergic reactions and the youngster is very allergy prone. He is so loved, already!
A feeble 7 from me today, Becky. Will get my act together eventually! Have a good weekend.

Dear Septimus. Of COURSE he had to feature. Does he like his new home?

I am sure he would have, but sadly he’s not here. He died a few months before Robert
