Well Septimus has to make an appearance in #SevenforSeptember, and yes he did get his lovely name because he was my seventh cat. And yes he probably had the biggest personality of them all!

There have not been many Square Challenges where Septimus hasn’t made an appearance and it isn’t his first Six Word Saturday either! However he didn’t make into the very first squares. As back in 2017 I hadn’t realised it was going to be a challenge! I think he’d approve of us celebrating the number seven, and if you haven’t yet joined us why not join us today on the seventh day. I have jotted down below some ideas for your Squares;
- share a photograph which was taken at 7am, 7pm or anytime during the 7th hour
- or maybe a photograph taken on the 7th of the month or in the 7th month, which can be either July or September!
- perhaps you have a favourite shot taken 7 months ago, on a 7 mile hike or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring.
- the number 7 might appear in your photograph or you could photograph 7 objects
- or perhaps you know of
a felinesomeone or a place with seven in their name!

Before you start having fun with the number seven this month let me quickly remind you of the challenge rules. As regular squarers know, these are very simple and mostly flexible;
- it is a daily challenge but many will be posting every 7 days (obviously) and a few might post just once and a couple of other Squarers have said they plan seven posts for the month.
- pingback via your post and you may also want to add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts. Please do use this month’s hashtag SevenforSeptember.
- as you can see pretty relaxed rules apart from one absolute; your main image must be Square in shape!
I love red cats!

Aw, nice to see Septimus again! Maybe your new home requires an Octavius / Octavia 😉.

hee hee, but it will have to be Undecim or Undecumus as I fostered Honey last year, and for a while Robert & I also fostered his eldest’s two cats. I know only fostering but it counts!

Naw, you couldn’t lumber a cat with that name! Undies for short?

lol!!!! Now that would be hilarious to call out at night

I don’t think fostering counts as those cats already had names you didn’t choose. I vote for an Octavius. I have a tiny toy ginger cat bought years ago by my youngest for Mother’s day which I called Bilbo Baggins. One of these days I might get a real one.

He looks very comfortable. So many options for seven, I hadn’t read it properly, a habit of mine

hee hee, likewise on the habit! Still plenty of the time in the month.
and this cat knew how to relax!
