Pylons are certainly not as incredible as the surviving seventh wonder of the world and many people hate them. However I am delighted the pylon with its parallel lines has enabled me to easily count up to seven!

The theme was chosen to celebrate seven years of Squares, and taking place in what was originally the seven month of the year.

The challenge began on the 1st September and remains active until the last day of September;
- it is a daily challenge but many will be posting every 7 days (obviously) and a few might post just once and a couple of other Squarers have said they plan seven posts for the month.
- pingback via your post and you may also want to add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts.
- it would help if you used this month’s tag SevenforSeptember.
- as you can see pretty relaxed rules apart from one absolute; your main image must be Square in shape!
Awosome images.

Those power lines are interesting. I wonder if they hum? Here is my entry:

I couldn’t hear a hum from where I was

First rainbows, then wires! We’re having the same thoughts! But today is another double dip (last one for a while): https://grahamsisland.com/2024/09/03/the-numbers-game-37/

A clever click!
one rarely counts whenever we take a click of pylon.

that is so true – have no idea why I did at that time, I think the sky behind was calling me

Sometimes, the sky just has that magnetic pull! Your pylon click was probably its way of saying hello. 🌌📸

Well spotted! I’m scheduling a Squares post for a few days’ time but as we’ll be away then (a few days in Paris) I’ll link back to this one if that’s OK?

I made a boo-boo with the link today, somehow (clumsy fingers and a temperamental keyboard) I managed to put the 3 before the last s in squares. Anyway all sorted now, but I’d better check tomorrow’s! I took several shots of pylons back for when I was running my photographic challenge in 2020 but I didn’t count the lines. I have an urge now to take a look.
I must admit I am enjoying the conversations probably more than the photos 🤣🤣🤣

lol!! Today’s conversations are definitely going places where I didn’t expect 😀 maybe you should join two of the many naughty ones behind these conversations next month when they visit me. Be plenty more good conversations then

I’ve always thought of pylons as giants marching across the landscape 😃 Here’s mine for today: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/09/03/july-over-the-years-1-sevenforseptember/
