Pylons are certainly not as incredible as the surviving seventh wonder of the world and many people hate them. However I am delighted the pylon with its parallel lines has enabled me to easily count up to seven!

The theme was chosen to celebrate seven years of Squares, and taking place in what was originally the seven month of the year.

The challenge began on the 1st September and remains active until the last day of September;
- it is a daily challenge but many will be posting every 7 days (obviously) and a few might post just once and a couple of other Squarers have said they plan seven posts for the month.
- pingback via your post and you may also want to add your link with a comment on one of my daily square posts.
- it would help if you used this month’s tag SevenforSeptember.
- as you can see pretty relaxed rules apart from one absolute; your main image must be Square in shape!
Here I am with today’s offering. I’ll have to have words with Brian. ‘Rabbiting on’ indeed! https://margaret21.com/2024/09/03/seven-oddments-from-shropshire/

Well spotted! And why did I read your conversation with Brian? Can’t get it out of my head. Na na na, na na nana na. Still at least Kylie has replaced Cilla.

I will practice singing it for October. Can’t promise the moves though.

well maybe this dance could be the 3rd option instead the yoga – at least I presume it was the yoga you were dropping out of the three options!!

Yes, it was. Actually, you don’t want me to sing either, believe me.

They always say you should look up, Becky. I’ve taken to counting flocks of birds as they fly overhead but I never get 7 in the shot.

oh I feel your seven struggle – hardly any birds are appearing in my month of seven, as even if you get 7 in the shot can you then square it?!

Almost certainly not! I’d have to follow Margaret’s lead and do multiples.

cunning plan, and she is an excellent woman to follow xx

Very good Becky
I always add a song so I have a few space fillers when I don’t have time to source a photo. I know cheating but as EVERYONE on Last on the Card – Margaret I’m looking at you – say rules schmules 😂

the occasional cheating square is allowed 😉 although I am now going to have this song stuck in my head. In fact it is already playing in my head and I have yet to start the video!!

Thanks Becky. I had inspiration this afternoon for some of the others I already have in draft so they will have a sqaure included.
That one was too hard to find a suitable photo 😀 Maybe you’ll have to dance the song out of your head

PS ooh what did Margaret do?! Will have to pop across to your Last on the Card or maybe direct to hers. She is such a naughty woman, suspect I am going to have lots of trouble when she visits me next month

Almost from the start when Margaret posted her last photo, she couldn’t just post a photo without an explanation, she had to rabbit on 😂
I am sure Elke joined in as well 🙄

It is not so easy to find pictures with 7!

It is surprising isn’t it once you start looking how it is not a number that appears readily. Promise it does get easier though as the days pass

Did your neck get sore counting them? Good work.

hee hee, it did as I kep recounting – seven is a difficult number to get to sometimes!!

The challenge definitely makes you really look at things. Things we wouldn’t normally notice.
