Wow that was a much longer blogging break than I had envisaged. As you may recall from a post back in June I was initially told there was a wait list for the internet to be activated. Well the wait list only lasted a week or so, and in early July an engineer was booked to visit. However the visit never happened, then the order was lost and insteading of re-booking someone decided to investigate why the order got lost and refused to re-book until that investigation had been completed. Don’t ask, no one seems to understand this part of the nightmare! Anyhow finally a few days ago an engineer did visit and I now have broadband.

I should today be focusing on the complaint and compensation demands, but instead I have elected to see whether I have enough photographs to launch September Squares next Sunday, and the exciting news is I do. Yay!

You won’t guess the theme from the photograph below, so I have elaborated in the next paragraph. But before you scroll down, why not try and guess from this hint – Squares is taking place in the month of September and I took this photograph on the 7th July.

Did you guess #Seven?! If so you are right! Seven is theme for September as it was seven years ago that squares was launched. September also happens to be the seventh month in the Roman calendar. Now I know you now only have seven days before the challenge commences but don’t panic I am not expecting anyone to square daily this time although having said that there are so many ways to photograph seven.

You could take a photograph at 7am, 7pm or anytime during the 7th hour, or the 7th month (which can be July or September!). Perhaps you have a favourite shot taken 7 months ago or even 7 years ago when we first began squaring. The number 7 might appear in your photograph or perhaps you want to go out and discover 7 objects. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you have fun. Just don’t forget though your photograph must be square!

    1. You were not the only one thinking it wouldn’t happen, and up until yesterday afternoon I was one of those thinking that!

Well there’s always Taylor and her album Seven 😉

        1. yeah I am slightly worried about the latter in September, well actually very worried . . . .. I am away overnight on 1st/2nd, visitors on and off between 6th and 10th, major anniversaries during that time too and I am off to the USA on 13th and not back until October. A great life but not the most helpful when also running a challenge!!

Just copy and paste with a big smily face. I know “someone” who has done that 😀

    1. Been such a nightmare, and made worse by the fact that the organisation causing the problem is uncontactable. I could only speak to my service provider.

And yay that Squares might tempt you back one or seven times!

  3. Glad to here you are settled in your new home and got your internet issues sorted. I was wondering about September Squares, but I like the Seven theme. Lots of different ways to go about that no doubt!

  4. It’s hard to imagine how something as regular as connecting broadband can be such a hassle. I’m glad you finally have it all sorted now. Initially I thought seven would be a tricky theme and then I realised we’ve just spent seven weeks in the UK! What a great way to begin what I think will be a fairly lengthy series about our amazing adventure in England and Wales. My photos probably won’t have anything related to seven in them, but they will all be of our seven week road trip. 🙂

  5. Welcome back! 7 – absolutely. I’ve started a new photo blog and will likely do daily there. But perhaps just on the 7th or every 7 days on my main one.

  6. Wow! I was not expecting you to go ahead with the squares, but I am glad to see you back in blogland. I hope the rest of the settling in to the new home has gone better. September might be a difficult month for me this year, but we’ll see…

    1. You and Anabel are on the same wave length, and will completely understand if it is too difficult. Squares is meant to be fun, and so if it is not the right time then that’s okay. Hugs x

    1. I think the word you are looking for is foolhardy rather than brave! Goodness knows how I am going to juggle it with my US trip, however I thought I’d have a go and see what happens . . . . ..
