Not sure my surveyor would give this property the same kind of building report as the one he has given the house I hope to buy. Even the 200 year old 17 ft high garden wall at the back of my potential new home is in better condition than this. Still I am sure there is someone who can see the potential in this Portuguese farmhouse.
And if you have not joined in the fun of the Squares Challenge then you have until 31st May to share photographic squares that are Burgeoning, Move Forward, Reconstruct and Renew.
Not sure that a reconstruction of this farmhouse is possible and makes sense !
This is mine for today from Rouen:

That would be quite the project. Your 200-year-old 17-foot-high garden wall sounds interesting. I hope your purchase goes through and we get to see photos of it! Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2024/05/23/potholes/

I like that old farmhouse photo. It reminds me of the half dug-out houses we had here in the pioneer days. … Good song, too!

Well, this makes our building project look v. tame, Becky. I’m liking the sound of your 200 year old wall though.

yeah think most projects would look tame compared to this!
If everything goes to plan you will have to come and see the wall!
