I think this is the same one that frequented the front of the apartments, and was captured in a Monday Portrait a few weeks ago. There’s that same determined look in the eye!

Us Squarers probably have the same look sometimes! It is a positive look though, always moving us forward. I have loved seeing all your squares to date, the variety has been brilliant. A reflection I guess of the theme choices. If you have not yet renewed your squares addiction, then don’t panic you have plenty of time to stride forward with the Squares Gang.
Squares continues daily until 31st May, and this month we are inviting you to share photographic squares that;
- Move Forward
- Reconstruct
- Renew
- and/or are Burgeoning

PS This second one is a Little Egret
These two are very definitely moving forwards!

Egrets do have a determined strut! Here’s my post: https://suejudd.com/2024/05/12/may-squares-12-ripe-for-renewal/

They do – so much so that it would make more sense for the fashion industry to call their walkways egretwalk rather than catwalk!

They both look very determined.

Egrets are birds with determination. Once that gaze locks on, beware whoever is being stalked

Just glad I am not a grasshopper!

Birds are weird. They often look half mad and single minded.
Here is my square for today: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2024/05/12/12-cora-the-amputee/

I do love a perky egret! Now, what am I doing wrong, Becky? I scheduled today’s post, as a test, and checked and double-checked the date in my link to your post, but I see you have no ping-back from me . It did publish alright as usual, but I clearly am doing something wrong in formulating your address in an as-yet unpublished post.

No you’ve done nothing wrong – it is there. It was just hidden because I hadn’t approved it. I approve all pingbacks to make sure I read them! And this morning went out for a walk before logging on!

Phew! I thought this was going to be a long saga, revealing my technical incompetence as usual!

Btw I think the WP gremlins might be hiding me in spam as I didn’t stay up to see the Northern lights!
