An unusual sight at this time of year in the northern hemisphere but these are not real. They are part of the winter lights display at my favourite local gardens, and I am guessing the lighting will be played to music as this display is close by to all the food stalls.

Robert loved tulips

I think they look rather lovely in the daylight too, especially in the sunlight which accompanied my friend and I on our morning walk here the other day. We also had a rather fabulous brunch, it was a good morning.

    1. It really does – she’s been such a great friend these past few months, and she’s extra special as not only did I work with her for a few years but she once shared an office with Robert 🙂

        1. exactly, one of the ones we like both is that she had the same problem as me in sharing an office space with him – his desk always spreads on to yours!
