An unusual sight at this time of year in the northern hemisphere but these are not real. They are part of the winter lights display at my favourite local gardens, and I am guessing the lighting will be played to music as this display is close by to all the food stalls.

I think they look rather lovely in the daylight too, especially in the sunlight which accompanied my friend and I on our morning walk here the other day. We also had a rather fabulous brunch, it was a good morning.
It look so real! Beatiful colours.

The tulips are wonderful. One of my favourite flowers. My post today https://somerville66.blogspot.com/2022/11/walkingsquares-looking-for-puddles.html

I always plant them in my garden but often miss them because we are in Portugal.

A food brunch with good company makes any morning better; I bet the tulips are beautiful when lit up 😃 Here’s mine: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2022/11/27/on-the-way-home-walkingsquares/

It really does – she’s been such a great friend these past few months, and she’s extra special as not only did I work with her for a few years but she once shared an office with Robert 🙂

That’s awesome that you have someone with a few shared memories!

exactly, one of the ones we like both is that she had the same problem as me in sharing an office space with him – his desk always spreads on to yours!

I can’t quite envisage how this will look after dark. I guess you won’t be showing us? A lovely splash of colour in dark November days.

yes unlikely to get to this display at night, but I will keep my eye out on local social media as am sure someone I know will go

I wouldn’t have known they weren’t real if you hadn’t said. They will be gorgeous with the lights on. I’m pushing my luck with today’s post – I did do some walking, you just can’t see it. 🙂

Looks lovely and cheerful. Guess it will be quite spectacular with lights when it´s dark.
