It’s another birthday today, my eldest step daughter. She’s going to be a fabulous 40! Where on earth have the years gone? I so wish Robert was here to join me today to wish her a Happy Birthday. This weekend she is catching up with her sister, and she has party plans for next weekend, but hopefully I will be seeing her wonderful self soon to celebrate.

Remember I am not expecting anyone to share a daily walk. I’ll be happy if you just join me weekly or simply pop in occasionally with your squares and comments. Your support has been helping me so much.
For some reason, this photo made me think of A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson, though the terrain is a tad different. Might have to read it again now. Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2022/11/17/this-way-and-that/

Well, there you go. He has some great books, very funny, but also quite insightful.

I think some tricksy entity has been messing with the universe clock. It’s definitely doing some weird stuff 🙂

That garden is certainly giving you lots of pleasure and us too. My daughter is 46 next week, it’s scary how fast time goes by, I can remember clearly her 18th birthday.

It is so scary where the time does, and time is even weirder for me at the moment

I love your walks and accompanying reflections. Yes, where does the time go.

This scene reminded me of a walk in New Zealand in 2016. So serene and beautiful.
