Sometimes it is not the tennis that you end up watching at Wimbledon, but what is happening around the court. Well that’s my excuse for having some rather odd shots!
It is the penultimate day of the February Squares Challenge and as you can see from my shots, the theme of odd means anything goes as long as your image has four equal sides!

Nice one. I haven’t been to Wimbledon since I went with school back in the 60s. Wearing school uniform was a big bonus. People leaving would hand their Centre Court tickets to us. I used to love going to Wimbledon, went annually for years but then had less success in ballot so not been for more than a decade 😦

I keep meaning to join the ballot. But the next one is not until 2023, as this year the lucky ones from the 2020 ballot get to attend!

Going to Wimbledon is high on my list of travel desires. Lucky you! I’ve been to the Australian Open many times but not recently.

It is a wonderful experience. The first time I went I queued from the early morning. Then went in the ballot for the next decade or so which was great 🙂

Yes. And there are so many stadium to choose from, as well as all the outside courts. It’s a great venue.
