If you have not yet joined in the fun of the Squares Challenge this month then you need to be quick as the 28th is fast approaching. It’s very easy to join us simply link back to me here and share a square photograph that is of something which is;
- Differing from the usual or not happening often (ie oddballs, the exceptions and follies)
- Separated from its set or mate (eg odds and ends or maybe odd socks or shoes)
- Not divisible exactly by two (ie odd numbers) or the number is unknown (ie 300 odd birds)
- Or simply something that you find odd, afterall oddness like beauty is in the eye of the beholder
You didn’t stay on the straight and narrow!!

I was also wondering whether it’s odd because of numbering or needing work. I’m back in Chicago for one more day with my odd plus a few none odd doors.

Odd numbers? Hard to read and some tlc required it appears.

They are odd numbers, sorry hadn’t quite realised how obscure they are. And yes so many buildings still in Tavira which need some tlc

It shouts out Portugal! And I’m assuming odd numbers as I can see 81.
I’ve got an odd mix of culture, folly and amusement: https://travelwithintent.com/2022/02/24/oddly-combined/

odd numbers indeed – seemed so obvious to me when I took the photo that I never actually checked to see how clear the numbers were in the photo!!

I’ll take your word for it that it’s the odd side of a -very attractive – street. When you’ve got time, bob across to my Spanish street: https://margaret21.com/2022/02/24/an-oddly-attractive-use-for-some-kitchen-chairs/

So do I! They are one of the many architectural delights that makes Portugal so special

I saw similar tiles and colours on the Azores. The paint was red until it was burnt. The heating process made it blue.

I’d love to go and see that stage of the creation – I have seen them at the stage when the pictures / patterns are drawn on
