Talking of odd looks, over the next week I may only manage the odd look in at WordPress somedays. As you all know we arrived back in England at the weekend but what I didn’t know until shortly before we boarded was that we were going to have a little person living with us. Over the moon to have them here but she does take up a lot of my time. There’s also the fact my laptop didn’t join me on this brief visit home. Now I do have a plan for staying connected but tomorrow I am travelling again so who knows what might happen! A complicated life but I am sure I will come up with a plan to stay connected with you all. I don’t afterall want any more odd looks from you!

If you have not yet joined in the fun of the Squares Challenge this month, then don’t let my mention of odd looks put you off. Everyone else in this amazing squaring community would love to see your square photographs that are;
- Differing from the usual or not happening often (ie oddballs, the exceptions and follies)
- Separated from its set or mate (eg odds and ends or maybe odd socks or shoes)
- Not divisible exactly by two (ie odd numbers) or the number is unknown (ie 300 odd birds)
- Or simply something that you find odd, afterall oddness like beauty is in the eye of the beholder
The tag is SquareOdds and just make sure your image has four equal sides before linking back to me here.
The cat seems disturbed by your presence. Here is mine https://mywanderings.travel.blog/2022/02/21/odd-monday-portrait/

That cat is a cutie. Little people are the best, no odd looks from me 🙂

They are not young for long so make the most of it. What have you done with her parents? Have they run off for a quiet week of their own? 🙄

You are so right and we are, and she is certainly making the most of having her grandparents. Got one of her parents here who is catching up on much needed rest and time to herself!!

An odd but very beautiful cat. Enjoy your travels, Becky, but look out for the wind and floods!

Definitely not sure about you – did you not reward her for a portrait rights?
I hope your time back here goes well – you’ll be in need of a rest when you get back to the Algarve 🙂

And obviously you’re not too worry about us squarers – we and our posts will still be here when you get over your busy-ness. Here is my oddity for today: https://travelwithintent.com/2022/02/21/draft-odd-squares/

This week was not planned when I elected February as the squarers month. I really should know better by now!!

You are being looked over, and found wanting, I suspect. My post today is bittersweet, following news of the flooding at Fountains Abbey: https://margaret21.com/2022/02/21/odd-things-among-the-follies-at-studley-royal/

Yes, quite a bit. We however are high enough above the river to be OK.

It is a treat, albeit noisy and chaotic – but guess wouldn’t want it any other way!
